Vintage Petticoat Magazines

Petticoat Magazine IPC Magazines, London. Weekly. 1966-1975 and was printed by Eric Bemrose in Long Lane, Liverpool.
This was a great little magazine as a spin off of Honey Petticoat was created in 1966 for teenagers by Audrey Slaughter.
In 1967 Janet Street-Porter was given the editors role, a job she talks about with great fondness and her close links with Zandra Rhodes and her partner while she held the position.
Teen magazines became a big sector featuring fashion and trends for the young and Petticoat was a great example of this with features on 60s and 70s designers and packed full of teenage adds for the eras.
